Madjandji is an Aboriginal corporation that celebrates and preserves the heritage of its Indigenous Australian roots through education, and research. Madjandji focuses on projects that not only reflect the rich stories and traditions of its people but also educate and engage a broader audience about the significance of the cultural importance of First Nations peoples.
For Madjandji, I developed a comprehensive visual identity that encompasses a new Squarespace website, distinctive illustrations, and unique print materials. The visual identity was designed to reflect the depth and diversity of Indigenous culture, with each element thoughtfully crafted to tell a story. The illustrations are inspired by traditional motifs and symbols, reimagined in a contemporary style to bridge the gap between past and present.
The website serves as a cultural hub, showcasing the brand’s projects and the stories behind them. It was important that the site be highly visual yet user-friendly, allowing visitors to navigate through narratives and collections easily. Print materials, such as brochures and promotional items, carry the same cohesive design elements, ensuring the brand communicates its core message consistently across all platforms.
